For english readers

The posts below are reports from the league matches of my soccer team, Vredens Druer (lit. "The Grapes of Wrath", a funny team name if there ever was one). We play in division 8 in Norway against other teams from the Oslo region. We're crap at football, but have a lot of fun.

The results so far this season read:
v Tjernet BK (away) 2-3 (1-1) - Attendance: 40
v Ullern IL (home) 7-4 (5-0) - Att.: 10
v Ski IL (a) 0-5 (0-4) - Att.: 20
v Jutul FK (h) 0-8 (0-3) - Att.: 10

Conceding an average of five goals per game at least tells you we're not a defensively-minded bunch...
Check out the brilliant jersey of the team here!

New thingy added - look to your right
I came across, yesterday, a mock website for George W. Bush's re-election campaign called "Bush - Orwell 04". They offer the newsbar you can see to your right; click on the links provided for a good laugh.

Links and other stuff
*My son Aksel, five and a half weeks old today, is a bright kid. Already, he has full control over which football teams he's supporting! (On his little hat reads "Fugla" - the nickname of my local football team Lillestrøm SK who play in the Norwegian Premier League
*The Liberal Soundbag is a beaut of a site I happened upon the other day. It seems it hasn't been updated recently, but it's well worth a look anyway.
*Practical Politics aims, in keeping with the traditions of Thomas Jefferson (or so it says), to inspire to public involvement and interest in politics over there. Carries a number of columnists from "across the political spectrum", although I wouldn't expect to see any social democrats there!
*Enough of politics, let's focus on the Mob! Gangland News does just that. It claims to be "the web's most authoritative site on organized crime" and undoubtedly has some interest for those who have seen Goodfellas once too many times...
*Another comprehensive source of infotainment is American Mafia. The site features an interview with Joe Pistone, the original Donnie Brasco, and a solid helping of feature articles of topical interest.
*Alternatively, if you're on the prowl for other crime-related sites you could use the Crime Spider to get a broader picture of all that's out there.

Oh, I nearly forgot to put in today's candidate for Right-wing Moron of the Year. Here: Nuts!
