Hello!
After recent criticism concerning the non-existent update frequency on this blog, I decided to do something about it. About bloody time too, the last updated was nearly two full months ago!Summer has come and passed over here and things are picking up on the news front again. Let's go through the most important developments one by one:
Back upon demand - News from Norway!
**Unbelievable stuff in Aftenposten the other day - apparently, shit for brains parents on holiday in Greece leave their infant kids in the hotel rooms for days on end. Can you believe it? No, me neither!
**We're still upset about the theft of Munch's Scream from the Munch Gallery in central Oslo a couple of weeks ago. This story really isn't very interesing, but features a well-known mural in Oslo, outside Munch's childhood home in Pilestredet, Oslo. The building has been occupied by the Blitz anarchists since 1981. Wonderful people they are!
**Four days after being outplayed by Italy, our national team go into action again tonight in Oslo, where Belarus are our opponents in a very important match in our qualification groups for the 2006 World Cup.
**My football team Lillestrøm SK looked good for a while, but have continued to mess up in the last weeks, making any hopes for medals in this year's championship all but impossible. Check this site for a stack of photos and videos from our latest games this season. The most painful defeat was when we lost, for the second time this season, the derby against the Shite in blue jerseys.
**Ach, I can't think of anything else to post at the moment. I mean, what do you care if there's contant uproar inside our very own religiously fundamentalist party? Oh actually, it seems that we might get a change of government after next year's elections. Both the Socialist Party (my party) and the social democratic Labour Party leap forward in the polls at the moment, suggesting that the days of the American arse-licking, warmongering, tax-cutting and public transport-killing motherfuckers of the current Government are numbered. Good riddance to you mr. Bondevik, ya wanker.
